1. Who we are

Luvvjoy is operated by Star River International Trading (Hong Kong) Limited, Unit 616, 6/F, Kam Teem Industrial Building, 135 Connaught Road West, Sai Wan, Hong Kong (“we”, “us”). We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at support@luvvjoy.com.

2. What data we collect

  • Newsletter sign-up: your email address, your marketing consent, the page you signed up on, your IP address and the time.
  • Account: your email address and a securely hashed password (we never store your password in plain text).
  • Orders: when you check out (handled by Shopify) we receive your name, delivery address, phone number, email address, the items ordered and the payment status. We do not receive or store your card details.
  • Technical data: IP address and browser information, used for security and to prevent abuse, including human verification by Cloudflare Turnstile.

3. Why we use your data

  • To send you product updates and offers by email — based on your consent.
  • To create and manage your account, process and deliver your orders and provide customer support — to perform our contract with you.
  • To keep the site secure, prevent fraud and abuse, and improve our service — our legitimate interests.
  • To meet tax, accounting and other legal obligations.

4. Marketing emails

We only send marketing emails if you have signed up and given your consent. Our team sends them manually from time to time. Every email lets you unsubscribe, and you can also withdraw your consent at any time by writing to support@luvvjoy.com.

5. Who we share data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run the shop, under appropriate agreements: Shopify (store, checkout and orders), payment providers, shipping carriers, Cloudflare (security and human verification), Feishu/Lark (managing our contact list), Alibaba Cloud (hosting) and email delivery providers.

6. Where your data is stored

Account and order records are stored on servers in Singapore and may be accessed by our team in Hong Kong. Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA or the UK, we use the safeguards required by law.

7. How long we keep data

  • Marketing contacts: until you unsubscribe or withdraw your consent.
  • Accounts: until you delete your account.
  • Order records: for as long as tax, accounting and other legal obligations require.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep your cart, keep you logged in and remember your cookie choice. Optional analytics cookies are only used if you accept them in the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” in the footer.

9. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our use of your data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. You can delete your account yourself on the “My account” page. For any request, write to support@luvvjoy.com. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

10. Age

Our products and this site are for adults aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version is always on this page.
